Gourmet Traveller Reader Dinner

We're delighted to welcome the Gourmet Traveller Reader Dinner to Sushi Room this July in partnership with The Calile Hotel and the James Street Food + Wine Trail.
Hosted by Gourmet Traveller Editor David Meagher, the evening will bring readers together for a five-course menu defined by a deep respect for Japanese tradition and seasonality. Each course will be paired with a wine or sake selected to complement the menu.
Throughout the evening, David will guide conversation around food, hospitality and dining culture, joined by Head Chef Shimpei Raikuni for an intimate discussion on the ideas and experiences that influence Sushi Room's menu and service.
At its heart, the Reader Dinner is about bringing people together through great food, thoughtful conversation and a shared appreciation for dining. We look forward to welcoming you into our dining room for an evening that celebrates all three.
